Sebastion may be the only person alive able to challenge the mysterious "thief." This figure is unstoppable, even by death it seems, and he wants something that only Sebastion possesses. Now, to save his own life, he and a mysterious new ally must dredge up his dark, painful past for clues as to who or what the relentless thief may be.

What begins in the Redfield home during that icy face-off carries their terrifying dance across a city and a continent, across the decades of Sebastion's life, and even into the impossible depths of his afterlife.

Part literary noir, part mystery, and part horror, THALO BLUE is touted as "Jason McIntyre's most complex, multi-layered, and disturbing work" to date.

Thalo Blue eBook Jason McIntyre

This is an interesting story where the personality and moral fiber of the main character is slowly revealed in ways that kept me interested in what happened to him. However, there was too much introspection and too little action. I wasn't looking for what I'd normally consider an action story, but the movement of this story was very slow in places. Also, the book would have benefited from a final spell check that would have picked up the regular mix-up of "ie" and "ei" words ("theif" for "thief" and "thier" for "their"), and an editing eye that would have caught things like "sermon on the mound" for "Sermon on the Mount" and "where" for "were". The author has a real problem with homonyms, especially using "taught" for "taut" -- a mistake that happened multiple times. I'd like to give this book a solid 4 stars for the well-done story but feel 3.5 stars better reflects the results.

Thalo Blue eBook Jason McIntyre Reviews

I can't write much of a review about this book as I didn't read more than a few chapters. And hated it. I felt I gave it a really fair chance to get better but it just didn't. It was hard to follow, creepy but not in a good way and just plain "out there". Possibly had I been able to stick with it longer things might have improved but I can only put so much time into what I considered a lost cause. When reading isn't fun and seems like more of a chore, it's time to call it.
I just started this book on my Fire. It has mystery and is a page turner. I really like books that keep me guessing. I will look for more Jason McIntyre books.
I felt the this storyline had great potential. Very unique and interesting. Unfortunately, it's a bit over-complicated. It was hard to follow at times and had way to much descriptive detail.....that said I will try another book from this author again in the future. Original plots like this can be hard to find!!
New author to me. and I was immediately taken with his writing style. Very refreshing. Subject, plot, intrigue, twists, were not stellar, but held my attention and were a nice enough change to cause me to purchase another of his books. Would recommend if you like a bit of the unusual.
McIntyre's style drew me into the story immediately. His narrative is like poetry, and like good poetry, you must accept that you will not understand every phrase or word. I found the character of Sebastion to be intriguing. He has a "gift" that is central to understanding the paranormal nature of the story. If you have not read The Night Walk Men or any of McIntyre's other works, I'd strongly recommend you do so. He is a rising star in the paranormal/psych thriller genre.
Jason McIntyre's Thalo Blue is gripping, terrifying, and an addictive, psychological thriller. McIntyre's book is poetic in its descriptions, and the author possesses the rare ability to pull the reader into the world he has created; Thalo Blue is so detailed and expressive I felt at times I was not reading a novel, but watching a movie. The ending is EXCELLENT; I was stunned and absolutely thrown by not seeing it coming at all.
Thalo Blue (Jason McInytre)

Sebastion Redfield is being hunted. After a terrifying break in and attack, Sebastion sees a psychiatrist to help him recover from this ordeal. But soon they discover this is no random attack. And what he is about to uncover is disturbing. Going from the past to present, twists and turns I was not sure what was going to happen next. I was at the edge of my seat until the very end.

An all night nail-biting psychological page turning read.Jason McIntyre knows how to get into the readers mind, and draws you deep into the minds of his characters. A writing style so unique, I love the in depth dramatic twisted style he has. This will not be the last McIntyre book I read.
